Dress Code

The club is committed to providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout. We ask Members, visitors and guests to observe and respect our dress code, both on and off the course. 

On the course, including the practice ground the following items of clothing are NOT permitted: 
  • combat trousers 
  • vest-type shirts 
  • crew neck shirts and t-shirts (turtle neck golf wear shirts are permitted) 
  • football, rugby or such like coloured shirts 
  • non-tailored sports
  • jeans of any type (other than on the practice putting green or watching golf) 
  • shellsuits. 

In the lounge, dining room, casual bar and Club room the following items of clothing are NOT permitted:

  • combat trousers 
  • torn, frayed or working jeans 
  • vest-type shirts 
  • crew neck shirts and t-shirts (turtle neck golf wear shirts are permitted) 
  • football, rugby or such like coloured shirts 
  • non-tailored shorts 
  • shellsuits
  • shoes worn on the golf course may not also be worn upstairs in the Clubhouse 
  • flip-flops
    golf or baseball hats 
  • waterproof trousers
