Since 1985 Baberton Golf Club has awarded Honorary Memberships of the club to individuals who have achieved significant golfing success or provided notable contributions / service to our club.
To date the club has bestowed this honour upon 10 worthy individuals:
1985 - Dudley Collier
For administration services to the club as Secretary from 1964-1985.
2002 - Joan Marshall
For services to Women's golf at County and National level.
2003 - Jack Dalrymple
For 44 years service as a Greenkeeper.
2009 - Fiona de Vries
For services to Women's golf at County and National level.
2012 - Alan Jollie
For services to the development of the new Clubhouse.
2013 - Paul Ferrier
For representing Scotland at full International level.
2014 - J.E. (Ewen) Murray
For services to golf broadcasting. Ewen also opened the new Clubhouse in 2013.
2015 - Richard McNeil
For services to the club.
2017 - Ken Kelly
For services to the club as Golf Professional from 1985 - 2016.
2020 - Robert (Bert) Kerr
For services to the club.
2023 - Pamela Williamson
For services to Women's golf at County and National level.
2024 - Karen Marshall
For services to Women's golf at Club, County and National level.
